* Camille at 4 months *

This month was a busy month for little Camille . . .

from trying out the bumbo seat and attempting to hold her own bottle to starting baby cereal . . . she's trying to grow up so fast!!!

This picture was taken by Carlee- Camille has always tried so hard to hold her own bottle, and has only been successful a few times, this being one of those.

Spartanburg Science Center

August 23, 2008

Carlee went to her friends, John and Katey, birthday party at the Science Center downtown Spartanburg. This is a new center that recently opened. The kids were able to learn and touch 3 different snakes, touch and feed the turtles and then learn about different butterflies.

This is Carlee touching the Albino snake- she was a little hesitant . . . very understandable. She enjoyed seeing and feeding the turtles but I think her most favorite party of the party- cupcake and ice cream!!!

It is hard to believe our little girl is going to be starting preschool in just 2 short weeks! She is excited . . . mommy has mixed feelings- I know she is ready to learn more (she is already writing just about all the alphabet letters and lately we have been working on learning how to tell time and tie a shoe). It will also be good for her to be with other kids her age.

Carlee has always enjoyed looking at books and reading!

These days, she loves being the "big sister" and reading the books to Nick and Camille.

This is Carlee in her bike gear . . . we laughed because she is one of those kids that is always getting hurt (and most of the times it is in very unusual ways!). The other day she was playing outside and put all of her bike gear on and played with it on . . . we laughed and said that was the safest way for her to play so nothing gets hurt :)!

Fireman Nick - to the rescue!!!

Over the past couple of months, Nicholas has really gotten into trucks. Back in March, we repainted and did his room "big boy style" . . . Firetrucks! He really enjoys looking at trucks of all kinds, but especially enjoys seeing firetrucks as they go by with their sirens on!!!

A Day In the Sprinklers . . .

I took Carlee and Nick to play under the sprinklers at Barnett Park (located in downtown Spartanburg). Their friends, Addison & Jake, and Tori & Luke met us there to play.

I had gone out grocery shopping and so Dan had to put the kids to bed. This was what I found Nick wearing to bed when I got home! The pants are a BIT too big I would say!!!

Needless to say we got a good laugh out of it!

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!!! YUM!!!

Sunday School Class Ice Cream Social

We had a great time Saturday eating ice cream and watching the kids play at Hatcher Gardens. There was plenty of ice cream for everyone! From Peanut Butter Cup to Mint Chocolate Chip and Strawberry Cheesecake . . . Mmmmm!!!

I also made Pizzelle Cookies and little bowls to eat the ice cream in. It was something different and enjoyable to eat along with the ice cream. The kids enjoyed their Dora popsicles- I think each child ate at least 2!
